Halloween fencing games week!

So for this week (October 25 and 28 fencing practice), we will be organizing a lot of fencing games during practice! Halloween candy will be provided, of course, to make things even more fun! Sugar high + fencing games for the win! :)

Halloween Slash and Stab results

The results of the Halloween Slash and Stab tournament which was on October 24, 2010, are now up on Askfred. Events included senior men's epee and senior women's epee.

Social dinner and dessert event

We'll be going out for dinner after the Halloween Slash and Stab tournament is over. If you want to join us, please RSVP by 11:00 pm on Thursday, October 21, 2010, so we can book reservations.

CFF fencing licence

For those who want to compete in CFF sanctioned tournaments, you will need to purchase your own CFF licence (or renew it if you already have a CFF licence). The cost, which includes both the BC Fencing Association membership and CFF licence, is $55.

This fencing licence will allow you to fence in any sanctioned tournaments in Canada and in the United States. You also get domestic points which go towards your ranking in the country.
