Hunger Games Catching Fire Movie Social

Hey fencers!

How are all of you? I'm sure the exam stress has gotten pretty intense for some of us already, while those of you who do not attend school are free from such troubles (lucky!). But worry not, this is a reminder for a de-stress-a-thon of good flicks and food. 

The aforementioned will be the last social of the year. We will be watching the Hunger Games Catching Fire at Scotiabank theatres this upcoming Sunday the 1st, followed by dinner at Guu Gardens.

Movie-goers: we will be watching the 4:50pm show so let's meet at 4:10 at the base of the escalators. This will allow ample time for ticket purchases and good-seat-snatching!

Dinner-ers: I will have a reservation under the name June at Guu for 7:30. We can meet you there!

Board Game & Potluck Social

Hey fencers!

I hope all of you have had a good long weekend. And congratulations to those of you who competed this Sunday!

This upcoming Saturday we will be having board game night/potluck. If you have any fun games please bring them!! Details are as follows:

When: Saturday 16th, 4pmish

Where: 2596 W 6th avenue, basement, entrance is on Trafalgar (Eloi's place)

What to bring: food for the potluck, board games, optional: alcohol

A thread will be posted on Facebook to coordinate the potluck foods to bring. There will also be an RSVP post so people know how much to bring portion wise!

Thanksgiving social

Hey y'all,

I'm sorry for the late email:(( but TGIF: Thanks Givings It's FRIDAY!!!!!!!!

Alright, enough funny business. This Sunday will be a (you guessed it) Thanksgiving social. We will be going bowling downtown followed by munchies at Five Guys and if the weather's nice some pumpkin spice lattes at Robson square!

WHERE: Commodore Lanes (838 Granville street)

Concerning expenses, if everyone could bring $8 in cash to me I will pay for the game. This will cover the shoes and the approximate 2 hours we will be playing.
