Thursday March 14: AGM, Elections, and Sheena!
We invite all members of the UBC Fencing Club to join us for our annual general meeting and to vote in the executives for the upcoming year, Thursday, March 14. The location is the Gallery in the NEST, everyone is welcome (including our younger club members).
For the AGM, we will briefly discuss the state of the club and the general activities of it over the last year, and will welcome any feedback and suggestions you have.
Following this, we will hold elections for our club executives for the upcoming year. Please consider nominating someone / yourself to fill a role. The following positions are available to be filled:
President
Vice-President
Secretary
Treasurer
Social Coordinator
Armourer

The meeting will be preceded by a presentation from the lovely Sheena Lynch, a physiotherapist who volunteers to help us take care of our bodies, from 6 pm - 6:45 pm in the Great Hall South, in the NEST. This means that there will not be any fencing after Sheena's session.

Escrime Sundae! March 23
Capital City Fencers' Club's famous Invitational
Inspirational Non-Denominational Fencing Tournament of Fun with
Entrance for a Song Plus a Nominal Fee, Kazoos Provided at the
Door. All entrants can enjoy an ice cream sundae after elimination
so ... Come for the Saturday, Stay for the Escrime Sundae!
