Lunch social at Tomokazu - August 2, 2011

Hi everyone,

We'll be doing a lunch social at Tomokazu Japanese Restaurant (1128 West Broadway, Vancouver) on Tuesday, August 2nd.

Time: 11:30 am
(yes, we will pig out in the morning)

Why a lunch social instead of dinner? Well...lunch all-you-can-eat will only cost $9.95!!!!

No fencing week of July 11th

Hi everyone,

Due to a major conference booking up every room in the SUB, fencing will unfortunately be cancelled the week of July 11th. We apologize for the inconvenience. Fencing will resume on July 18th.

Transformers movie social - July 5th

Hi everyone,

Since Monday doesn't work for everyone, I have rescheduled the movie social to be on Tuesday instead of Monday!

We'll be watching Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon

Date: Tuesday, July 5th

Location: Scotiabank Theatre (900 Burrard Street, Vancouver)
Time: 7:00 pm (we're going to watch the movie in 3D, since I've heard good reviews on the 3D special effects)

We'll be grabbing dinner afterwards! Location to be decided after we watch the movie. :)

If you would like to join us, please RSVP by Monday, July 4th so we know how many will be coming and we'll wait for you. We'll meet at the entrance of the theatre at 6:00 pm and then buy tickets together (or if we know you'll be coming 100%, we can buy the ticket for you in advance just in case it's sold out, then you can pay us back later).

We ran out of those $9 movie coupons but I'll see if I can get a few to sell to those who show up for the movie.
